Sharron Ashcroft became an Agent in 1991. She joined ATS Casting following a twenty-year career as a Casting Director (GTV, YTV, freelance).

Sharron Ashcroft Management was established in 1996 with just 25 clients, quickly growing to 75. Sharron and her ex-husband Ken Ashcroft started it together, despite being separated. It is now managed by Emma Ashcroft, who joined the Agency in 1997. Kerry Buttle works alongside Emma, joining the company following a seven-year career in advertising. The Agency is based at Dean Clough Mills, a restored mill complex in West Yorkshire.
