Sharron Ashcroft became an Agent in 1991 following a 20 year career as a Casting Director (GTV, YTV, freelance).

Sharron Ashcroft Management was established in 1996 by Sharron Ashcroft.

It is now managed by Emma Ashcroft, who joined Sharron in 1997 and took over as principal Agent in 2007.

Kerry Buttle works alongside Emma and joined the company following a 7 year career in advertising.

The Agency offers actors the chance to experience a little bit of everything, covering a full cross-section of work.

Be it television, feature films, short films, low budget films, student films, theatre, small-scale theatre, fringe,
TIE, commercial, rep, devised, multi-media, specialist, pantomime, radio, voice-overs, narration, commercials,
corporate work, presenting, radio presenting, guest slots, roleplay, community arts, PAs, comedy acts,
club circuit acts ...

We represent actors, writers, directors, producers, dancers, musicians, choreographers, drama teachers and more.

And we treat all aspects of our work with an equal amount of professionalism and enthusiasm.

Our office is based at Dean Clough Mills, a restored mill complex in West Yorkshire.

Located between Manchester and Leeds, Dean Clough is a cultural and business centre that also houses
Northern Broadsides Theatre Company, IOU Theatre Company and the Actors' Agency, Northern Lights.
