A Clockwork Orange

Wakefield College
Plays @ Wakefield Arts Centre on 26 June

Darren Johnson directs the Lifelines + Access Students
of Wakefield College.

Thirty students with learning difficulties will perform this adaptation
of Anthony Burgess' notorious novel "A Clockwork Orange."

Darren, a part-time lecturer at the college, says ...

"Drama and performance is an important and vital part of the course,
both to raise confidence and learn new skills.

"A Clockwork Orange" examines some really topical
themes – anti-social behaviour and the consequences
of your actions – so it seemed like a good choice.

We like to make people stop and think on this course and the play
is sure to do that."
