She is played by Jacqueline Pilton, familiar to TV viewers as Mrs Payne, Fred Elliot's nosey customer in "Coronation Street", as the gossipy
Mrs Dawes in "Wives and Daughters", and as Bellamy's Landlady in "Heartbeat"
The one-hour play begins as Margaret returns 'from the beyond' on her bicycle, cloak billowing behind her, ready to perform again in "Blithe Spirit"
