One of the most prolific and diverse writers in the UK today, Sol B. River's celebrated career spans across film, theatre, television and radio.
His two volumes of plays are published by Oberon Books and he has also contributed to various collections.
He has held residences at The West Yorkshire Playhouse, Talawa Theatre Company London, and as Associate Director at the Contact Theatre Manchester.
Awards for his film direction include Winner of Best Cinematography at the Lodz Media Festival Poland, International Festival Der Filmhochschulen Munich
and the BBC London Short Film Festival.
For his BBC Radio 4 work, he was shortlisted for a RIMA Award.
He is currently a Royal Literary Advisory Fellow.
